Capiz Online exists to cover what most travel sites skip: the seafood that earned Roxas City its title as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines, the aswang and manananggal legends that have followed this province for generations, the islands and beaches most people have never heard of, and the practical details you actually need to plan a trip here.
This isn’t a copy-paste tourism blog. Every article is built from real research, local sources, and — where possible — firsthand visits and interviews. If we write about a restaurant, we’ve checked it out. If we write about a legend, we’ve talked to people who grew up with it.
What you’ll find here:
- Food guides — from oysters and diwal to native delicacies you won’t find outside the province
- Folklore and history — the real stories behind Capiz’s reputation, not just recycled clickbait
- Travel guides — islands, beaches, churches, and itineraries for first-timers and repeat visitors
- Practical planning — costs, transportation, timing, and what to actually expect
Capiz Online is run by Maragtas Media, based in Roxas City, Capiz. Video content and on-location coverage is available on our YouTube channel [coming soon].
